In Addition
Set within the layered fabric of Melbourne’s Mitchel House, the In Addition studio is conceived as a warm, lived in workspace that reflects the practice’s approach to design. Softly rendered walls and natural light establish a calm, grounded backdrop, allowing materiality and everyday rituals to come to the fore.
Timber joinery, stone surfaces and rich veneers are paired with curated objects, planting and moments of colour to create a space that feels both considered and evolving. A shared table anchors the studio, supporting collaboration, conversation and the day to day rhythm of the team. Balancing function with atmosphere, the studio embodies a belief in design as both a creative and deeply human pursuit.
