July Bondi
Continuing July’s exploration of ‘the golden age of travel,’ the brand’s Bondi boutique celebrates the joy and nostalgia of visiting Europe in summer. Glass blocks articulate a crystalline shopfront, boldly punctuated by a red bulkhead, column, and inset luggage display showcasing the brand’s signature carry on trunk.
Sandy stone tiles, tessellated with red mosaic inlays, anchor the store’s main retail floor. A geometric composition of pale oak and walnut veneer crafts a furniture-like plinth, complemented by pale oak shelves for luggage display. A mosaic-clad sales counter commands a monolithic presence, accentuated by a floating nickel pendant designed by Italian architect and designer, Achille Castiglioni, in 1978.
